Our Student Teacher By: Angela and Jose

Our favorite student teacher is Miss Coyne.
By: Jose’ and Angela
She was very nice. She was the best student teacher in the world. She taught us a lot of cool different things in math. We played Language Arts games with Miss Coyne.  On her last day we threw a party for her. It was a lot of fun, from then on we have always missed her.

Just a Boring Square By: Alex and Ijaz

This is our favorite math song.
Our first lesson in math class was geometry we learned about polygons.
One day our teacher Mrs.Trolio showed us a really funny and cool song it was called the boring square.
All the kids in our class laughed and sang along.
The next day everyone was singing it .
We all asked if we could watch it again.
The song was about a square that thought he was boring.
Then he wanted to be a pentagon.
Next he kept getting more sides then he wasn’t boring anymore.
This was Alex’s and Ijaz’s favorite song in math class.

Guest Speaker By: Mickayla and Maria

Our favorite activity in school was when a guest speaker came to talk to our class about recycling. She talked about how water bottles are made and what products are made out of.   Most of the products are made out of oil.  She taught us how they take the recycled materials and squished them into boxes. She taught us the proper way to recycle paper, steel, aluminum, glass, and plastic. She showed us a video about recycling. She let us feel plastic before and after it was stretched into a big machine.
